No surprises. No delays. Here's exactly what happens from first call to final inspection.
Every Goliath roof follows this exact process. We don't skip steps, and we don't cut corners.
We visit your home, inspect the entire roof from ground level and on-roof, and check the attic if accessible. The inspection takes 20-30 minutes. We photograph every area and note any damage, wear, or potential issues. There is no cost, no obligation, and no pressure.
You receive a written condition report with photos, measurements, and our honest recommendation. If your roof is in good shape, we tell you. If it needs repair vs. replacement, we explain why. No upselling, no scare tactics.
Cash customers get a detailed line-item quote with material specifications, labor breakdown, and permit costs. Insurance customers get our help filing and documenting the claim with professional-grade damage reports your adjuster expects.
For insurance customers: we meet with your adjuster on-site, provide supplemental documentation, and negotiate for maximum coverage. We handle all the back-and-forth so you don't have to. Average insurance timeline: 30-90 days from claim to approval.
We pull all required building permits (we handle this 100% — you sign nothing at the building department). Materials are ordered from our manufacturer partners and delivery is scheduled to arrive the morning of your installation.
Our crew arrives at 7 AM sharp. Old roofing material is completely removed, and the decking is inspected for rot, soft spots, or damage. Any decking repairs are made the same day before new material goes down. We never install over compromised wood.
New underlayment, drip edge, flashing, and roofing material are installed per manufacturer specifications and Florida Building Code. Every nail, every seal, every connection is done to GAF Master Elite standards. Most residential jobs are completed in 1-2 days.
Magnetic nail sweep of your entire property — driveway, yard, and walkways. Full debris removal down to the last scrap. Final walkthrough with you to inspect the finished roof, answer questions, and make sure everything meets your expectations.
We schedule and attend the county building inspection on your behalf. We do not consider the job done until the county inspector passes it. If there are any issues (rare), we correct them immediately and re-schedule at no additional cost.
You receive written warranty documents covering both our lifetime workmanship guarantee and your manufacturer warranty. We schedule a complimentary 1-year follow-up inspection to check every seam, seal, and flashing point. Your roof is our reputation.
We handle the heavy lifting, but here are a few things that help the process go smoothly:
The first step is a free, no-obligation roof inspection. We'll tell you exactly what we find — honestly.
